The halogen bond has previously been explored as a versatile tool in crystal engineering and anion coordination chemistry, with mechanochemical synthetic techniques having been shown to provide convenient routes towards cocrystals. In an effort to expand our knowledge on the role of halogen bonding in anion coordination, here we explore a series of cocrystals formed between 3-iodoethynylpyridine and 3-iodoethynylbenzoic acid with halide salts. In total, we report the single-crystal X-ray structures of six new cocrystals prepared by mechanochemical ball milling, with all structures exhibiting C≡C−I⋅⋅⋅X− (X=Cl, Br) halogen bonds. Whereas cocrystals featuring a pyridine group favoured the formation of discrete entities, cocrystals featuring a benzoic acid group yielded an alternation of halogen and hydrogen bonds. The compounds studied herein were further characterized by 13C and 31P solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance, with the chemical shifts offering a clear and convenient method of identifying the occurrence of halogen bonding, using the crude product obtained directly from the mechanochemical ball milling. Whereas the 31P chemical shifts were quickly able to identify the occurrence of cocrystallization, 13C solid-state NMR was diagnostic of both the occurrence of halogen bonding and of hydrogen bonding. 相似文献

Oral insulin administration still represents a paramount quest that almost a century of continuous research attempts did not suffice to fulfill. Before pre-clinical development, oral insulin products have first to be optimized in terms of encapsulation efficiency, protection against proteolysis, and intestinal permeation ability. With the use of dendritic mesoporous silica nanoparticles (DMSNs) as an insulin host and together with a protein-based excipient, succinylated β-lactoglobulin (BL), pH-responsive tablets permitted the shielding of insulin from early release/degradation in the stomach and mediated insulin permeation across the intestinal cellular membrane. Following an original in vitro cellular assay based on insulin starvation, direct cellular fluorescent visualization has evidenced how DMSNs could ensure the intestinal cellular transport of insulin. 相似文献

The photophysical properties of a series of conjugated push–pull (iso)quinolines were studied. The compounds were synthesized by well-established and straightforward methodologies. The materials exhibited not only emission solvatochromism in a variety of nonpolar solvents, but also tunable halochromism. Some of the compounds remained moderately luminescent after protonation and had a red emissive form, which was used to obtain white-light emission, both in solution and in thin films, by controlled protonation of the initially blue–green-emitting materials. This methodology has potential applications in the fabrication of white organic light-emitting diodes with two forms of a single emitter in equilibrium. 相似文献

This study addresses gas–liquid two-phase flows in polymer (PMMA) micro-channels with non-molecularly smooth and poorly wetting
walls (typical contact angle of 65°) unlike previous studies conducted on highly wetting molecularly smooth materials (e.g.,
glass/silicon). Four fundamentally different topological flow regimes (Capillary Bubbly, Segmented, Annular, Dry) were identified
along with two transitory ones (Segmented/Annular, Annular/Dry) and regime boundaries were identified from the two different
test chips. The regime transition boundaries were influenced by the geometry of the two-phase injection, the aspect ratio
of the test micro-channels, and potentially the chip material as evidenced from comparisons with the results of previous studies.
Three principal Segmented flow sub-regimes (1, 2, and 3) were identified on the basis of quantified topological characteristics,
each closely correlated with two-phase flow pressure drop trends. Irregularity of the Segmented regimes and related influencing
factors were addressed and discussed. The average bubble length associated with the Segmented flows scaled approximately with
a power law of the liquid volumetric flow ratio, which depends on aspect ratio, liquid superficial velocity, and the injection
system. A simplified semi-empirical geometric model of gas bubble and liquid plug volumes provided good estimates of liquid
plug length for most of the segmented regime cases and for all test-channel aspect ratios. The two-phase flow pressure drop
was measured for the square test channels. Each Segmented flow sub-regime was associated with different trends in the pressure
drop scaled by the viscous scale. These trends were explained in terms of the quantified flow topology (measured gas bubble
and liquid plug lengths) and the number of bubble/plug pairs. Significant quantitative differences were found between the
two-phase pressure drop in the polymer micro-channels of this study and those obtained from previous glass/silicon micro-channel
studies, indicating that the effect of wall surface properties is important. Pressure drop trends on the capillary scale along
gas bubbles extracted from the measurements in square micro-channels indicated a linear dependence on the Capillary number
and did not agree with those predicted by highly idealized theory primarily because explicit and implicit assumptions in the
theory were not relevant to practical conditions in this study. 相似文献

A liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometric (LC–MS/MS) method for the simultaneous detection and confirmation of halofuginone, robenidine, diclazuril, nicarbazin, monensin, narasin, lasalocid, salinomycin, maduramicin and semduramicin in whole egg has been developed and validated. The anticoccidial residues were extracted by acetonitrile, evaporated and dissolved in a sodium acetate/acetonitrile mixture. Then, the samples were injected on a C8 column in a gradient mode. Diclazuril-bis, DNC-d8 and nigericin were used as internal standards. The results of the full validation in accordance with the guidelines of the Commission Decision no 2002/657/EC are presented. This rapid and sensitive method was found suitable to confirm the anticoccidials at 1 and at 75 μg kg−1 for the MRL compound lasalocid. 相似文献

P-Chirogenic monodentate binaphthyl phosphines were prepared in five steps from enantiomerically pure BINOL. This approach supposes the utilization of two methods previously developed in our group, the formation of secondary phosphine oxide, and the reduction of tertiary phosphine oxide using the association of tetramethyldisiloxane and Ti(OiPr)4. During the last reduction step, only the formation of the more stable diastereoisomer was observed. This product was employed as a ligand for the palladium catalyzed hydrosilylation of styrene to afford the corresponding alcohol with high yield and enantiomeric excess. 相似文献

More than 20 years after its birth, green chemistry has definitely entered its golden age. In this account, we highlight some of our progress made over the last 10 years towards the development of green methodologies. We investigated various aspects of green chemistry such as new reagents, catalysts, transformations and solvents and also the utilization of renewable resources. We report herein four mature projects illustrating our efforts in these fields: (1) polyhydrosiloxanes as new reducing agents; (2) glycerol as a new platform for amphiphilic molecules; (3) water, room-temperature ionic liquids and supercritical carbon dioxide as new solvents and (4) C(sp2)–H activation as new C–C bond formation methodology.
